DW finished a short mini-tour with friend and collaborator Glen Phillips and songwriter Garrison Starr. It went so well that the three are considering doing it again in the new year. Highlights of the “writers-in-the-round” style shows included heavily harmonized versions of “Secret Smile” and the new song “Sugar.” Also DW unveiled a brand new song, “When I Wake Up.”

Meanwhile, mastering resumes on DW’s album, which has wandered in the wilderness of major-label switcheroo for these past 18 months. Mastering is the final technical step before manufacturing can take place. Consider this forward motion. No one dares predict when the CD will come out. But after all this, it ought to be good.
